Our client’s multi award winning accountancy firm is rapidly growing and they are looking for seasoned Bookkeeper from Practice to join their team.

The main focus of the role will be on supporting their clients by providing bookkeeping services and support.

Primary duties

• Bookkeeping on Xero
• Answering questions and providing ad hoc advice to clients
• Oversee a number of portfolios
• Journal entries, accruals, and prepayments
• VAT returns
• Bank reconciliations
• CIS returns
• Developing financial statements including balance sheet and P&L
• Audit queries and liaising with external auditors.

Must have

• Actively studying ACCA/CIMA/AAT or equivalent (advantageous)
• Xero (advantageous)
• Up to date experience within Practice
• A problem solver with great communication skills
