The Role
As a Sector Pathways/Collaboration Lead you will lead the delivery of sector-based Net Zero pathways across key sectors alongside supporting the identification of new partners/collaboration opportunities across the sector. As part of this role, you will be expected to:
- Support the coordination and delivery of sector-based Net Zero pathways across key sectors
- Collate and calculate Scope 1, 2 & 3 carbon footprints
- Research key sector drivers and decarbonisation opportunities, including cost/benefit analysis
- Develop science-based carbon reduction action plans
- Produce residual emissions pathways (sector offsetting strategy)
- Prepare sector standards and guidance
- Effectively manage stakeholders through coordination of meetings and calls
- Collaboration with partners
- Effectively manage partner/collaborative stakeholders through coordination of meetings and calls
- Prepare appropriate processes, standards and guidance
- Support the identification of new partners/collaborations
- Conducting research into potential new partnerships/collaborations
- Initially engage with potential new collaboration/new partnerships to develop concept approaches
- Prepare recommendations for collaboration/new partnerships for internal review
- Conduct workshops and deliver training with key stakeholders
- Contribute to the delivery of our internal initiatives towards the growth, sustainability, culture, knowledge sharing and aims of the business
- Manage your projects in line with project management timetables, quality standards and project budgets, as well as your performance against KPIs
- Act as a catalyst for change and support our ambition to support 1 in 100 people to go Net Zero, by being curious, focused and innovative.
Experience & Qualifications required
- Degree or equivalent in a related subject or adequate sector experience
- 3+ years experience in a carbon-related role
